Getting back into routine!

I hate getting back into my usual routine – I absolutely love Christmas, but not afterwards. I’m so tired er.

What’s up people!

This year has gone super super quick! Too quick in fact. It still feels like 2005 if I’m honest. This is the time when I go back to school and start writing 2015 and then realising its 2016 but trying to change it slighly so that no body notices. I bet everyone does that. Not just me. Please say it’s not just me!  

2016 sounds CRAZY to say! This year has proper whizzed by. It’s so scary! I don’t like it! 17 in 8 months, woah. I hope 2016 is a good year for you guys!

I am going to do more exercise, eat more healthily and enjoy life and every experience more

Having a job – It’s such a responsibility for me at this age. I’m only 16 and I feel proud of myself for having a job. I also have extra money which is good so I can spend it on clothes and what I want!

Lil’ look back on 2015!

What’s up people!

So today, well tonight because it is currently 10:50pm, I thought I’d just take a little look back on the events of 2015 in my life.

This is also a fun idea for everyone to do to look back on old memories and to see what you could do either to make yourself better or just to come up with new ideas for 2016. 

 So my number one thing that happened to me in 2015 is coming out. Coming out is always a hard thing to do – especially when your parents are separated. Even to this day only my mums side of the family know and I hope to keep it that way. My mum and other members of my family were (well are) super supportive. To add to this, for my 16th birthday my mum brought me a cake which was rainbow inside with all different coloured layers. This just made me feel so overwhelmed to know that my mum supports me 100% of the way.

The second thing that happened in my life is.. Hmm… GCSES! Like many of you out there reading this, you had taken your GCSE’s in May/June/July time. It was such a scary experience – taking all of these exams within a one month period (for me anyway). I was so so nervous on every single exam I had, even though I only had about 9 because the rest was coursework. Luckily I came out with the best results I could have ever wished for and finally made it into sixth form! *insert firework emoji* I bet all of you are proud of your GCSE’s too, whenever you took them and whatever they were called back in the day.

My third and final huge thing that happened in my life was when I went on a school trip to the one and only USA! USA! USA! Yes that’s right, we went to USA! Sorry I just love saying USA! Anyway, as I think I already blogged about it, I won’t go into too much detail but basically we went to Honduras. It was the best experience ever! It was an eye opener to see l these happy people without any mobiles or any electronic device. They were literally living off the fat of the lan and ever since I arrived back home, I’ve hardly used my phone. I have deleted a lot of media sites like Instagram because it was pointless and making me really depressed to see celebrities in all these fancy clothes and being size 8 – I felt so anxious about my self so I decided to delete it and I have never been happier.

There is something about me that only one of my friends know… Well now the whole world knows. YES. I LOVE ALADDIN!

Everything about it is perfect. The characters, script, moral and of course, a topless guy (can’t go wrong)

But seriously. It’s my actual favourite. For our Smart and Silly Day next year, I may go as Aladdin and my best friend will probably go as Jasmine. Oh my god, how cute will that be.

I’m so so so sorry for not posting recently. I have been super busy. Coursework is just coming out my ears right now I swear, there’s so much of it and also getting prepared for Christmas yayyy!!!!

What’s in my make-up bag?

As I have recently tidied my room, it is much easier to see what make-up and essentials I have so I thought I’d take a moment to show you guys. Don’t underestimate the power of Glee. It’s literally like any other eye shadow, just with really bright colours! And I believe it was very cheap and alright quality.


I actually recommend this! It leaves your hands feeling super soft and smells incredible!  

My foundation I am currently using. It soaks into the skin and gives you the ‘no-make up make-up‘ look. It covers spots and blemishes.

I recommend this if are somebody who has oily skin. Put 2 drops on every night and in the morning your skin will feel soft and will not appear oily anymore.


This is the foundation brush I am using. Many people recommended it to me and I didn’t know why but now I do. It gives you an even amount of coverage.

16 Things I’ve Learnt In My 16 Years of Living

  1. You should always feel the part. Everybody knows that feeling when you’re going out for a meal with your family and you dress up smart and you feel pretty… You should have that feeling everyday. Having this feeling everyday will make your performance better, especially in school because whether or not you look the part, if you feel the part and if you feel pretty then it will soon show and your appearance will start to match the way you feel. You always need them days, usually on the weekends, when you just spend the day in your pyjamas and you feel comfy.
  2. Don’t take negative comments seriously. You have to remember that you won’t be everybody’s cup of tea. Not everybody will like you, the way you dress, the way you act or the way you speak. People are entitled to their own opinions, it’s how you react to them that is the real test.
  3. Read books. Reading calms the brain. It also helps you to increase your vocab.
  4. Keep your family close. No matter what you do, your family will never leave your side. Friends will come and go, but family? They’re not gling anywhere.
  5. Be creative! Being creative also calms the brain. If you create something, it gives you satisfaction and you can keep what you made to remind yourself of the memory. 
  6. Be active! If you’re unhappy with your weight, do something about it. You’re not going to be a certain size forever. Not only will you lose weight and look slimmer, but your health will become better and inside you will feel amazing. Words can’t describe the feeling and money cannot buy the feeling you feel when you loose weight and become happy in your own skin.
  7. Be germ free! Washing your hands and bathing are extra important. 99% of bacteria is invisible. Wash your hands constantly. I would recommend you to carry a antibacterial hand gel with you.
  8. Be colourful. You will feel so much more alive if you add a little colour into your life. Maybe paint your room a wacky colour or wear a wacky t-shirt. At first you’ll hate it, but as it goes on you’ll learn to love it.
  9. Stay away from carbs! It’s always been thought that sugar is bad for you, but it turns out carbohydrates are the same. People don’t realise it but too many carbs are pretty bad for you.
  10. Follow your own trend. Isn’t it boring following the trend; looking like every other teenager. Make your own style. Follow your own trend.
  11. Drink water! Water keeps your hydrated. Always drink water when you’re feeling hungry. This will stop you from binge eating and snacking. Also it helps to keep you refreshed!
  12. Find a hobby. Hobbies are the best! This will make you work towards something and will give you something to calm yourself down when you’re feeling low.
  13. Eat! Don’t starve yourelf! Eat 3 meals a day. Do not starve yourself if you want to lose weight. Starving yourself will make you put more weight on. 
  14. Go travelling! Ok so you don’t have to go abroad. What I mean is to get out of the house. Refresh your mind. Go to different places. National Trust places always seem to please me.
  15. Dress for the weather. If it’s cold and you have a big fluffy coat, don’t be afraid to wear it. They won’t be laughing when they’re full of coughs and colds. 
  16. SMILE! You don’t have to smile on the outside, but smile on the inside. Enjoy the life you’ve been given.

IT’S AUTUMN! Autumn is full of bright colours and falling leaves. It’s my favourite season of all. Autumn clothing is the comfiest. I love the colours as well; burnt orange and dark purples. 

  Here are some of my Autumn Favourites.

 First of all are the jumpers. They are the comfiest piece of clothing! This jumper is from New Look and it looks quite thick but it’s actually very thin. Suitable for changing weather. I haven’t been asked my New Look to do a promotion, I just love their jumpers!

Also the colour is so trendy at the moment. The wool is soft as well and it does not rub against my skin. 

The best jumpers are the Christmas jumpers. The jumpers with cute little penguins on them with a 3D pattern. I also have many jumpers with Christmas patterns on them, patterns which are red and white and are repetitive.

So winter is the weather when your lips start to crackle. Vaseline works a treat! The Rosy Lips vaseline has an amazing smell to it to. I’ll sound like an absolute freak when I say this but you can smell it through your mouth.  

 Rosy Lips also does give you what it says on the tin. It does give you Rosy Lips and an amazing shine to it! It gives you a glittery look to your lips, in the way that other lip glosses do. With vaseline, it also helps your lips and closes the cracks so it’s two in one. 
One last thing, throughout the day you will need to keep applying it as it only lasts an hour or so, but I highly recommend it!

 BEANIES! I have only recently started wearing these but I think they suit everyone with all different sized heads, sized bodies and hair length. It gives you a rustig look. 

Every sort of hat makes you warm up. As the heat rises out of your head, the hat will trap the heat in and make you feel a little warmer.

The colour beanies I got are brown and black. These colours suit everything; every coat; every top; every type of shoe; every hair colour.  

I would recommend you to wear beanies.

I can’t even explain the smell but it smells incredible! It smells tranquil and it makes you feel so calm. It makes your skin soft. It doesn’t leave your skin wet or oily. It hydrates straight away and I find that it helps with stretch marks and random wrinkles. 

You put it on after you shower. Your skin can be either wet or dry when you apply it. 

What I find is that if you put Johnsons Baby Oil on your skin straight after you shower and then dab yourself dry; apply the body butter after the baby oil and your skin will feel even more softer… And plus, the baby oil smells AMAZING!

Lipstick colours are essential in Autumn. The trending colours are dark purple, dark brown and a pale nude colour. I find that the lipstick that suits me is the dark purple. This may be because my hair is light brown and my skin is very light so the dark purple lipstick contrasts with my skin and hair. These have been my Autumn Favourites.
